So, we have been on a video-taking role! I guess it makes up for not taking any pictures for Thanksgiving. (Which, by the way, was awesome! Thanks everyone!) This first video is kinda mean...but really kinda funny! Brady was teasing Kailyn about her nose....Well, you'll just have to see for yourself. I laugh every time I see it!

First Foods
This is a pretty old video, but pretty funny. When we fed Taylor her first bite of baby food, she made the most awful face! But it was so funny, we had to get it on camera.

Sometimes I dont know how to explain my little girl

Yesterday, at about 11:30am, I come out of Taylor's room because I had just finished feeding her. I was a little nervous because I didn't hear Kailyn playing...and when Kailyn is quite, that means she has done something or is doing something bad. But to my amazement, I come out and see Kailyn at the bottom of the stairs (on the landing) sleeping! and all her favorite toys are lined up on the stairs sleeping too. When I asked her if she was sleepy, she quickly "Shhhhed" me and said "Everyone's sleeping. You have to be quiet." Oh my! funny little girl

Happy Halloween!
I know I'm a little behind...its been kind of a crazy couple days. I hope everyone had a great Halloween! I know we sure did. Kailyn had such a blast trick or treating. Who wouldn't?! Here are a few (of the many) pictures we took... Kailyn, obviously Snow White and Taylor is the poison apple.

This last weekend was one that was jam packed. Friday was Halloween...we stayed up late eating candy and running off all the sugar. On Saturday, we headed down to Denver for a good friends' baby shower, which was so great. Saturday night, we had a little birthday party for my nephew, Tyler, who turned 4 on the 29th. We opened presents and ate some cake and ice cream. Happy Birthday, T-Bone!! and on Sunday, Dave and Ashley blessed their third little boy....Grant Mathew. It was such a wonderful blessing and such a fun time afterward. Lots and lots of family and grand kids everywhere. There were so many grand kids that it gets kind of hard to keep track of them all.... (wink, wink) :o)

Happy Birthday Brady!
On Saturday we celebrated Brady's 28th birthday! I was so glad his birthday was on a Saturday so he could do whatever he wanted. He hasn't been able to do lots of "hobbies" lately... so he decided it would be a perfect day to do some mountain biking. While he was gone, the girls and I made some last minute arrangements for his birthday. After he got home and the girls had their naps, we opened presents! Kailyn got him a really cool pair of biking gloves and Taylor got him a new Wii game. Thanks to our good friends the Ortiz', we were able to enjoy a dinner out without our girls. We went to Hibachi Steakhouse and had a wonderful meal. After dinner, we headed back to the Ortiz' house to surprise Brady with some Rhubarb pie. (his favorite) I wanted to do something different than the traditional cake because well, he doesn't like cake! That's a no-brainer I guess.... I hope he had a great day! Happy birthday to the best husband and daddy ANY girl could ask for! WE LOVE YOU BRADY!

Taylor is 6 Months
Taylor is 6 months old now. Holy cow...where does the time go?? These past few months have been so great with Taylor around. She makes for some pretty good entertainment. We always make a game out of trying to get Taylor to laugh. Brady always wins....He is so good at making her laugh. She loves being thrown up in the air and she loves to box. She has a pretty nasty right hook. ;o) She is sitting up on her own for quite a while. We started her on some rice cereal and she does so well with that. She loves to be a part of the dinner table now. A while ago, Taylor developed a sort of shrieking noise...(the worst noise ever!) but that has seemed to die down a little bit. And we are all SO grateful for that. We went to the Doctor's office yesterday for her well child visit. She came out with 4 shots but they didn't seem to phase her at all. Taylor weighed in at 18lbs (71%)and 28 inches long (96%). She is going to be tall like her daddy. I'm so afraid that I will be the shortest person in the family. bummer....
These last 6 months have been so great with Taylor around. We are so excited for the next 6 months and many more years to come. She is so great...we love her!
