Tonight, we got to watch Devin while Jay and Emily went to a Rockies game. After dinner, the kids were getting a little bored, so Brady made a little fort for them to play in. Ahhh...the fun you can have with just a blanket!! They had so much fun. I wish I was little again, so I could play in forts too!

Cousins!

The other day, Greg and Stacy came to hang out with us for a few days. Their little guy, Owen, is just about 2 weeks older than Taylor. They love each other already!

This one's for you, Laurel!!

This is my new favorite summer outfit for Taylor. Thanks so much!!!

2 months!

Taylor had her 2 month baby check up. The Doctor said she was doing so well! She weighs 12.5 lbs. and is 23.5 inches long! And I think I saw her head size at 15 inches. She is so far off the charts, the Doctor was thinking that she was 4 months old. She started asking me questions that a 4 month old would do...and then she realized, that she is only 2 months old. ha ha It was pretty funny. We both had a pretty good laugh. Taylor is such a happy baby. She has a great schedule during the day which makes the days go so much smoother. However, her sleeping at night is a different story. She wakes up at 2 to 3 times at night to eat. We are working on fixing that right now. But other than that, she is such a great baby. We couldn't have asked for a better, CUTER baby.

Picnic Rock

Sunday was such a beautiful day! Some friends of ours decided to head up to Picnic Rock that afternoon and we tagged along. We have heard some great things about this place from some other friends and we were excited to check it out. Kailyn and Devin had such a great time throwing rocks, sticks, dirt, pine cones, and anything else you can imagine in the river while the old folks just talked and hung out. It was great to get up in the mountains for a bit. The air was so crisp and fresh. The river was really high because of all the snow melt. We even saw some kayakers coming down the river. We saw one of the kayakers tip over and he couldn't get back up for a while. Finally he just came out of the kayak and floated down the river for a while. It was so scary watching the guy under water for so long and not coming up for air! But he made it. It was also so nice getting out with friends and just hanging out. Thanks guys for the invite! it was so fun!

I had to get one picture of Taylor to prove that she was there too! Again, she just hung out in her car seat. Sometimes she drifted to sleep and sometimes she was awake. She was in such a good mood when she was awake. She was smiling away. Ahhh I love this little girl....

Lee Martinez Farm

This last Saturday we didn't have anything to do! It was so nice to wake up and not have anything planned. But you know Brady....he always has to be doing something...so we decided to head over to this really fun farm. Its kind of like a petting zoo almost. The animals are so used to human interaction that they come right up to you and expect you to feed them. Kailyn was loving all the "aminals". A little dyslexic maybe? There were some fun farm equipment you could play on too. Kailyn loved "driving" the tractor. She wouldn't get off. This is something we will have to do again.
Taylor was there, I promise! She was just in her car seat sleeping the whole time.

Coyote Ridge

I found these pictures from a while back. We went with the Parker's for a hike...well, more of a nature walk, to Coyote Ridge. It was so nice getting out and enjoying the fresh air. This was one of the first "nice" weather days we had in a long time. Thanks guys! That was fun!!

Where's my Prince?

Kailyn LOVES princesses. She has a favorite movie that she could watch over and over again. Enchanted. Its a great movie...I love it too. The other day, Kailyn hit her head pretty good on the cement and had a huge bump. We were trying to put some ice on it and the only way she would sit still enough to do that was by watching "the princess movie". So Kailyn was sitting in Brady's lap with the ice. Towards the end of the movie there is a dancing scene. So she gets up and starts to dance. A few minutes later, she looks at Brady and says: "Huh. I don't have a Prince!" So, Brady got up and started dancing with her. I thought it was the cutest thing! Soon enough, she will get her real prince.

My little lovelies...
