Girls Night

Last night was our stake temple night. So we decided to make a girls night out of it! Emily, Camille, and I had a great night! We drove to the temple earlier that evening and had some pretty wild and awesome discussions on the way down. We had a great time at the temple. It was Emily's first time at the Denver Temple, so we stayed a little extra so she could soak it all up. Then we headed over to chili's for an awesome dinner and even better conversations. and then the ride back to Fort Collins was filled with entertaining topics. You never know what to expect when you get us 3 involved with questionable topics. ;o) It was such a great time hanging out with some great friends.

Taylor is 9 months

On January 3rd, Taylor turned 9 months old. We finally got into the Doctor to have her check up. Taylor is doing just great! She didn't even have to get any shots this time around. Her stats are: Weight-19.2lbs (58%) Length-28.5 in. (82%) Head 17.8 in (81%). Taylor is so fun to have around. She has started crawling this past week; and she is everywhere! We have to make sure the basement door is closed all the time and the gate is up so she doesn't fall down stairs. This girl has NO fear. She loves the rush of being thrown in the air. She still gets a kick out of standing on brady's hand and balancing. She has started to say a few words. She knows "uh-oh" very well. She can say "da-da" "Blah" and just recently she has started saying "bye" when I hang up the phone. It is so funny. Her and Kailyn get along so well. Kailyn is the only person who can make Taylor really laugh. Taylor LOVES her big sister. She will follow Kailyn around all day long. I cant wait to see what kind of bond they will have growing up. Sisters always have a special bond. We are so blessed to have Taylor as a part of our family. She brings us such happiness and joy. She is such a good baby and we couldn't have asked for a better little girl.

Randoms and Family

The whole family!

Taylor with Great Grandma Eakle

Tyler and Hailey. (Hailey was just born in November)

Greg and Stacy and Owen (Owen is 2 weeks older than Taylor)

Christmas Morning

Kailyn was so surprised that Santa came and ate the cookies!
The girls were so lucky to have so many wonderful presents! Thank you everyone for a wonderful Christmas!

The fun festivities before Christmas. Kailyn and her cousin Tyler made a gingerbread house...kind of. They pretty much just ate the frosting and candies. But that's what kids do, i guess! At least they had fun. ;o)

Christmas Eve, Kailyn and Grandma made some cookies for Santa. She was so excited and she did a great job! She rolled the dough all by herself. I was surprised how she knew what to do with the flour and rolling pin and cutters. I have a little Rachael Ray on my hands!

Christmas Sunday

The Sunday before Christmas is always a special one. The girls looked so adorable in their new dresses. I just love listening to and singing the Christmas Hymns.

Twins?

My mom showed me this picture of her when she was 3 years old. I could not believe how much her and Kailyn look alike!
