Happy half birthday Kailyn! Well, actually, it will be on February 30th. Wait! There is no February 30th....So, we will just have to celebrate now. Time goes by so quickly with this little girl. She is learning so much and we are so happy for her! We went to the doctor yesterday for her little check up and she is just fine. She weighed in at 25.5 lbs and 34.5 inches long. She definitely got her height from Brady.
I'm almost positive I will be the shortest one in the family for sure. Kailyn is getting to be more and more like a little kid and not a baby anymore. She can talk in 3 word sentences like "I get down", "I did it", "I don't know", and "where is she". Kailyn will repeat anything Brady and I say...so we have to watch what we say around her. She can feed herself with a fork and spoon which makes breakfast lunch and dinner so much easier for us. She is also getting 3 molars! There were a few weeks in there where she was so fussy and in lots of pain, but now, I think the worst has passed for her. And our next big accomplishment will be potty training!
She has been showing interest in using the potty for about a month or so now, so we bought a potty chair a few days ago and are starting to sit on it and have some fun on the potty. I need to do some research before we actually get started with all that. She has been so happy with the warmer weather lately. We go for little walks around the block and to the mail box. I think she is getting a little ancy to go to the park and actually play outside! For the most part, Kailyn is so happy and so healthy. We are so happy to have her with us and we couldn't have asked for a better little girl. We love you, Kailyn!
