So, not much has happened in the last few weeks. Brady is getting really busy at work now. He has put in many long long long days at work to get things done before the cruise. I feel really bad for the poor guy. But, you gotta do what you gotta do, right?! It will all be worth the stress as we are sipping lemonade pool side... ;o) Things have really slowed down with the basement lately. Brady has been at work all day there is no time for basement work. But, everything that goes behind the walls is done. We are just waiting for the inspection guy to give us the OK. That will have to wait until we get back and work slows down. After the inspection, its the drywall and then decorating!! My favorite part! Its going to be lots of fun.

Some fun things that happened so far.... Brady and I were able to go to a Rockies game (finally) this year. It was the second to last game of the regular season. It was a great time. We had dinner (kind of) at the ball park. Just hot dogs, nachos, drinks, pizza, etc. the typical ball park dinner. And just sat back and enjoyed the Rockies kick the D-backs butts! It was great!
We also got to watch Jay and Emily's little guy while they celebrated a birthday. Kailyn loves her friend Devin. And she loved even more that he brought over "Elmo's World" to watch! Those two were glued to the TV while Elmo was on. Devin brought over 2 chairs that were along the wall for him and Kailyn to sit on while they watched together. It was so dang cute! I wish we caught it on video. And of course, Kailyn will not go anywhere or do anything without her care bear. She is attached to that guy too!

I was also able to go to "Time Out for Women" this last weekend with my mom and sister. Its a church program that is designed for women to get some extra church time in. There were great speakers all day long. I think the best part was the hostess. President Hinckleys daughter was the host and introduced the speakers. But she would always add her little remarks that were just so uplifting and amazing. There were lots of vendors there with all sorts of crafts, books, clothes, music, and tons more. It was such a great break for me because I am in nursery every week and don't really get to be taught at church. But it was also great because I got a break from Kailyn for a day! My brother (ga-ga) took Kailyn all day! They went to a great park to eat some lunch, and then met up with Jon and Tyler to head over to a horse farm! They got to pet some horses and even ride on them. Kailyn was in heaven all day. She LOVES her uncle. Thanks Greg!!

So, I think I am all caught up on the latest events. Now, just stay tuned for Brady's birthday and the cruise!! Woo hoo!
