Happy Birthday Brady!

On Saturday we celebrated Brady's 28th birthday! I was so glad his birthday was on a Saturday so he could do whatever he wanted. He hasn't been able to do lots of "hobbies" lately... so he decided it would be a perfect day to do some mountain biking. While he was gone, the girls and I made some last minute arrangements for his birthday. After he got home and the girls had their naps, we opened presents! Kailyn got him a really cool pair of biking gloves and Taylor got him a new Wii game. Thanks to our good friends the Ortiz', we were able to enjoy a dinner out without our girls. We went to Hibachi Steakhouse and had a wonderful meal. After dinner, we headed back to the Ortiz' house to surprise Brady with some Rhubarb pie. (his favorite) I wanted to do something different than the traditional cake because well, he doesn't like cake! That's a no-brainer I guess.... I hope he had a great day! Happy birthday to the best husband and daddy ANY girl could ask for! WE LOVE YOU BRADY!

Taylor is 6 Months

Taylor is 6 months old now. Holy cow...where does the time go?? These past few months have been so great with Taylor around. She makes for some pretty good entertainment. We always make a game out of trying to get Taylor to laugh. Brady always wins....He is so good at making her laugh. She loves being thrown up in the air and she loves to box. She has a pretty nasty right hook. ;o) She is sitting up on her own for quite a while. We started her on some rice cereal and she does so well with that. She loves to be a part of the dinner table now. A while ago, Taylor developed a sort of shrieking noise...(the worst noise ever!) but that has seemed to die down a little bit. And we are all SO grateful for that. We went to the Doctor's office yesterday for her well child visit. She came out with 4 shots but they didn't seem to phase her at all. Taylor weighed in at 18lbs (71%)and 28 inches long (96%). She is going to be tall like her daddy. I'm so afraid that I will be the shortest person in the family. bummer....

These last 6 months have been so great with Taylor around. We are so excited for the next 6 months and many more years to come. She is so great...we love her!
