Easter is here!

Happy Easter everyone! We hope you all had a wonderful holiday. We had a pretty mellow and low key Easter Sunday compared to everyone else. This was Kailyn's second Easter, but the first one that she actually did something. Brady....excuse me....the Easter Bunny hid some eggs (thanks to Maggie) around the living room in the morning. We spent an hour or so getting everyone ready...her new dress had to be prefect and Kailyn's hair took FOREVER because she would not sit still so I could tie her bows. So after everyone was ready for church, Kailyn went downstairs and went nuts looking for the eggs. We had to show where the first couple eggs were and then she got the hang of it and found every egg. She was so excited! She kept saying "o-punt" which means "open it" to get all the candy out of them. Grandma Maggie gave Kailyn a cuddly little lamb in a cute little chicken bowl. We had to take the lamb to church with us because she wouldn't let go of it. After the egg hunt we went to church and had a really nice choir performance. Came home and took a much needed nap and then for dinner we headed over to Jay and Emily's house. We had some yummy chicken tacos. We talked and caught up on a bunch of things and Kailyn played with her friend Devin. They just love each other!! Thanks guys!!
Hopefully, next year, Kailyn will have a better understanding of the meaning behind Easter and not just want to eat the Eggs and candy. We hope you had a great Easter holiday and we hope you are all doing well!
PS at this point Kailyn was just about Eastered out....but we had to get at least one picture with the ears.

I cried like that when kate put bunny ears on me too.

just kidding. I actually did the bunny hop for a good 45 minutes before collapsing in exhaustion.
